Tiago Splitter and his girlfriend got married!

Tiago Splitter said "I do" to his girlfriend Amaia Amescua she's from Victoria, Spain and that's where they got married, in the Basilica de Armentia. It was past two in the afternoon, safe from an overcast sky that spared the downpour despite more than a hint of rain. A wink from the heavens, a happy couple.

About fifty guests surrounded Amaia and Tiago tucked in a unobtrusive and discrete ceremony. Present were a good number of famous figures former and present Baskonia team members such as the Baskonia president, the manager, and technical secretary. From the Baskonia team, those who won this year's ACB league title against Barcelona, there was Fernando San Emeterio, Pau Ribas, Jon Uriarte and Marcelinho Huertas

The Reunions

The 'All-Star' guest list also had a handful of former locker room colleagues of Splitter. Within these included Luis Scola, Pablo Prigioni, Sergi Vidal, Jordi Grimau and Javier Buesa a long line of friendship and shared memories. Even Moncho Monsalve, former coach of Brazil, put aside their busy schedules to climb back up the hill of Armentia.
